Coach Kelly Montana

Golfer’s Performance Studio (GPS) is a dream come true for me. “Helping as many as possible play and feel better through golf and fitness” has been my mission for decades. I have long envisioned a fun place to go to where the focus is being strong and healthy while slowing the aging process as much as possible. Add to that the ability to work on my swing, too, is the perfect scenario! Now I can offer that place to you-a members only, boutique style facility with state-of-the art functional training and anti-aging, team approach services. The best results come when all aspects of health and fitness are addressed.

During my career, I have felt the missing component in the Golf Fitness Specialist industry has been the ability to collaborate with a team of experts that all share the same mission. For example, knowing the go to swing fault, or being aware of a pain issue, helps determine the design of each training session. Now we have that ability with the GPS group of professionals, all of which share the same purpose and vision. I have learned that everyone is so different, so when it comes to the human body, “One Size Fits One”. Therein lies the challenge! Luckily we live in an era where we are learning more and more every day and we want to pass that on to you. Together, with the GPS team of swing coaches, Dr.’s and Movements Specialists, we can help you find and fix your power leaks. The end result is YOUR path to vitality, longevity, and peak performance.

Thomas Lehman swing coach at golfer's performance studio

Thomas Lehman

Golf has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to the game at an early age through my father, a major championship winner on the PGA Tour, and fell in love with golf around age 10. Although I also grew up playing baseball and football, I decided to pursue golf seriously during my senior year of high school.

I began my collegiate career at TCU before transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on a golf scholarship. I competed for two full seasons in the Division I program, leading the team in scoring average during my senior year and earning Team MVP honors.

Over the past six years, I have competed professionally in events including the CRMC Championship on PGA Tour Americas, which I played four times, and the 3M Open on the PGA Tour. I also won a professional event on the Outlaw Tour in 2021.

For nearly two years, I have had the privilege of coaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. My passion for teaching began while helping my father with his swing on the PGA Tour Champions. That experience showed me how rewarding it is to help others improve their games. I take pride in identifying opportunities for improvement and creating a positive, personalized learning experience for each student.

My favorite part of coaching is watching students build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the game more.
